We were in the middle of a kitchen remodel and our main water shutoff valve had failed. We had no water. All the plumbers I called could not get here for a day or two. When I called Beis they said they had a full schedule, but thought they could get here ...mid afternoon. Glen and Eric were great! They arrived about 3 PM and assessed the situation. Not only did we need a new main valve, but a new pressure regulator as well. Since it was late in the day, their parts people drove the parts to our house. Glen and Eric quickly made the repairs and restored our water. The guys were done and leaving by 4:45. It was a bit expensive at $1900. However, the alternative was wait another day or two for another company and still pay that much or more. I really liked the fact they were located in Valley Park and not from St Louis city. I had a stopped up toilet. Was told if my toilet was over 10 years old it would need to be replaced starting at $700.00. What a scam! Another plumber cleared the clog for a simple service call.
We called several companies to give us an estimate on a sewer lateral repair. Tony was our first contact with Beis Plumbing. He was very prompt with returning phone calls and answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. From ...the very beginning, we knew this was the company we chose to perform the work for us. Once we accepted the estimate, our scheduled work was completed in a timely manner. Beis Plumbing was terrific at a difficult time! It was closing on a Friday evening and I called in a panic because I had water coming down into my basement so had to totally shut off the water in my home. I couldn’t wait until Tuesday (the first appt ...available) and couldn’t find anyone else to come out. After clearly explaining the after hour fees they found someone to help me with the hour. Once he arrived he was professional, honest, and super helpful! He provided a temporary solution and a quote for the permanent fix. On Monday, I was called with a correction to the quote provided with an explanation for the correction. The technician returned when he said he would and fixed the problem with no issue. Today vendors do not go over and above, but Beis did and I truly appreciate that they did! I now have an honest plumber to call and refer to anyone looking for great craftsmanship and even better customer service!Read More...
