The preferred candidate will have plumbing experience, be a hardworking, motivated individual that wants to help their company grow. At least 1 year of plumbing experience required. Drain experience is a big plus, but not required.
Job Description
As a plumbing technician, you are the face of the company. You are interacting with customers on a daily basis and being their saving grace when it comes to plumbing. The plumbing technician is responsible for plumbing repairs from water heaters and water softeners to leak repairs and faucet installs. Our team works together to get the job done, so the position is also charged with assisting other technicians. There is the possibility for new construction and sewer repair work.
Job Duties
- Effectively interact with customers and answer any questions they have.
- Install water treatment systems, plumbing fixtures, water heaters, pressure reducing valves, and other parts of the plumbing system
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues like water heater issues and high or low pressure
- Assemble and install valves and fittings
- Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
- Diagnose and repair leaks
- Ensure company equipment (truck and tools) are kept clean and maintained to the highest standards
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
- Follow company procedures to ensure the timely arrival to jobs and proper communication with office personnel
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of plumbing experience
- Drain clearing experience is a plus, but not required
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Extraordinary customer service skills
- Desire to help and a passion for plumbing!
